Why this programme

Asia is home to advanced technology and manufacturing ecosystems, with strong capabilities in electronics, robotics, communications, AI, aerospace, and dual-use innovation. For Ukrainian defence-tech companies, the region offers opportunities for industrial partnerships, component integration, specialised expertise, and long-term technology cooperation.
However, these markets cannot be approached through a single regional strategy. Ukrainian battlefield experience is relevant, but it must be translated into a proposition that fits each partner’s operational, industrial, and commercial priorities.

Four featured markets

Across four selected Asian markets, the programme will explore how defence-innovation ecosystems work and where Ukrainian companies can build meaningful cooperation. A bonus session will focus on cross-cultural and business communication.

The Defence Tech Bootcamp (formerly The Defence Tech Comms Bootcamp) is a joint initiative by Calibrated and Tech PR School, created to strengthen the communication capabilities of Ukrainian defence tech innovators and enable more effective engagement with key stakeholders: investors, governments, industry media, and defence innovation ecosystems across allied nations.
The programme has already trained over 250 participants across four cohorts, with support from BAE Systems, CSG, and Helsing.
Featured speakers have included industry leaders from NATO, BAE Systems, CSG, leading law firms, accelerators, and European defence tech clusters, as well as international media – including a Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist.

An all-female civilian team working from Ukraine, Calibrated helps defence-tech companies build the trust, visibility and international relationships needed to grow beyond the battlefield. The recognition reflects this contribution to shared security through the Defence Tech Comms Bootcamp.
